Reading your work felt like discovering a new language — one that speaks directly to the heart while still offering intellectual depth.
Here is my feed to my original prints and other artwork on Instagram. It is mainly a lino print gallery but there are sketches and paintings as well. They are not all finished items and some are experiments that worked differently to how I expected them to. I think they are interesting and show how I am developing as an artist and the kind of ideas I like playing with. My current favourite is the stop motion video I’ve made from lino prints of some one being thrown in judo.
I’ve been trying larger prints recently which have their own challenges. Mainly around consistency of the print quality. Currently I use water based inks. I’m going to try an oil based black ink and see if the results are different. I’ve also learnt that some types if lino benefit from sanding before use as they can have a waterproof coating. This is the original hessian lino (grey colour) which has become my preferance as it is easier to get fine details. I will update the gallery with examples when I’m happy with them. The instagram feed will show works in progress.
